Smoking
Smoking leads to lots of illnesses and dental issues. In particular, it can affect the healing response of dental surgical procedures. Although lots of smokers have successfully been treated with dental implants, it is definitely not ideal.

- Have been a patient at rock house for a few years now (my wife too). We find them to be professional, polite and outstanding. The reception team are friendly and very knowledgeable. I recently had a root canal procedure and was feeling quite nervous, the team at rock house recognised this and called me several times to talk through the procedure (calls from clinician/dentist/reception).
When I came for the treatment I felt quite good about having it done based on all previous conversations. This is something I’ve never had at previous dental surgeries. - My dentist merged with the Rock practice a short while ago, and then moved on, so I had only had an initial inspection with the new dentist but found them most welcoming.
On Saturday I lost a Crown from my front tooth and as I had important presentations on Tuesday I was a little concerned.
I rang on Sunday morning to leave a message and was totally surprised when I got a call back an hour later. I discussed the problem and although they were fully booked, I was found a slot on Monday afternoon. The treatment was excellent and I was in and out in a matter of minutes.
The icing on the cake however was a call from the practice on Tuesday morning to enquire if everything was alright.

- I had used rock house for an emergency treatment and they seen me within an hour and managed to alleviate the pain. I then had a few more treatments too.

Had to have an emergency appointment, followed up with an extraction. They were really accommodating and sympathetic, I got treatment really promptly. Even the procedure was ok because they paid great attention to pain relief .
