Invisalign clear aligners are an awesome way of straightening your teeth. They are discrete and easy to wear and as a result our patients simply love them.
Below are 5 things you should know about the treatment.
Invisalign aligners work best if you wear them for at least 22 hours a day.
The longer you wear the aligners continually, the more chance they have to work. Its a commitment! You will wear the braces for 2 weeks before changing to the next set.
You can take the aligner out when you eat.
You must remove the braces when you eat. In fact, eating with them in is impossible, as your teeth will not come into contact. Our patients become very adept at discreetly slipping the aligners out and in. Removing the braces when you eat allows you to enjoy your food as normal. Try to brush your teeth before and after inserting your aligners. Oral hygiene is is much easier to keep up with as you can remove your aligners to brush and floss as normal.
Water is the best drink for your braces
You can drink when you wear your invisible braces, but, tea, coffee, red wine may all cause staining. If morning coffee is an essential part of your daily routine, remove the aligners before drinking it. Try to brush your teeth before and after inserting your aligners.
Don’t smoke
Smoking will clause your invisible braces to become less than invisible. Tobacco stains are unsightly and difficult to remove. Also, smoking is bad for your general dental health
Invisalign Aligners aren’t for everyone
Not all patients are good candidates for Invisalign. Traditional braces may be a better choice for those with severely crooked teeth.

I am needle phobic. The last time I saw a dentist was when God was a boy. I was seen by Kiran and Gemma.
I love both of them as I had the dental wand for a filling. It then turned into a tooth extraction. The best £257 quid I will ever spend. If you are terrified of dentists? I am a world champion of needle phobia. Not now. AND I DO MEAN PAINLESS!
- I initially went to Rock House because of the good reviews. I had toothache and was seen quickly, despite the fact that I was not yet a patient. The problem was dealt with and I registered with the practice. The dentists have always been straightforward and honest about what needs doing - and the reverse. I knew I needed work and once this was completed it has just been check-ups and hygienist work. At all times everyone at the practice has been helpful and polite.

Thank you to every member of staff 👏 - I cannot recommend this dentist highly enough. They are kind, considerate and eminently professional. They were also nothing short of amazing when my autistic son needed s wisdom tooth removed. They were so expert and understanding with him they removed the tooth without the need for a general anaesthetic and hospital visit. Brilliant.

Had to have an emergency appointment, followed up with an extraction. They were really accommodating and sympathetic, I got treatment really promptly. Even the procedure was ok because they paid great attention to pain relief .

- These guys have proved time and again for me that they care more, when I needed emergency care they performed miracles and then repeatedly rang me to check how I was. Then they coached me to make sure it didn't reoccur. They've repeatedly told me not to have treatment if they wouldn't themselves rather than just selling to the max. The dentist Adam explained everything very well to me and my daughter so we both knew what was needed. He talked to my daughter during the procedure to make her comfortable as possible.
